As you can imagine from the title this program lists over 500 procedures.  Each procedure includes instructions, necessary equipment you will need for the procedure, documenting, and what to do in case of complications.  This is a very user-friendly software Index the procedures can be found easily through the search function and there are hundreds of illustrations that bring life to the procedure.
 
3.    Davis's Drug Guide For Nurses
One thing that nurses are constantly doing are dosage calculations.  With this software it has never been easier to calculate meds.  The software includes 5,000 drugs classified into 150 categories.  This software has a built in error prevention and warnings when problems may arise, as well as patient warnings such as take with food.

As you can see there are many different software packages to help nurses do their job.  Especially in the medical field you really cannot take too many precautions.  I also know people who use the software in Brazil while they are giving medical attention to village people.
